Bowser, "Jesus"

I entered this drawing in one of the 2023 Chalk Festivals on the Medina Square. It was a very exciting project, and I know many people recognized and loved this character! In Bowser's signature song from the recent Mario movie, "Peaches," he expresses his undying love for the constantly rejecting Princess Peach. I could have printed the same on this drawing, but I thought this was the perfect opportunity to express my love for Jesus instead (how perfect is it that it fits and rhymes so well?!). Unlike in the movie, though, when I sing to Jesus of my love for Him, it doesn't go rejected or ignored. In fact, He loved me first when He died on a cross to give me new life and an eternity with Him in heaven. My love for Jesus is in reaction to what He's already done for me; how could I not insert it into my artwork?
